Don Dancier![]() It gives us great pleasure to offer Don Dancier at stud for 2010, an approved Premium Hanoverian Stallion we purchased in 2009 at the Hanoverian stallion licensing at Verden. ![]()
A young dressage stallion with a shiny black coat, charming appearance with excellent manners and a self-assured character, good size and uniformly excellent gaits, it's no wonder he received a premium at the Hanoverian Hengstmarkt in Verden in 2009.
His pedigree is a "summit meeting" of black coated ancestors: In the first generations they are practically all black, so the probability that the black color will be passed on is especially high. His sire, Dancier, was the Champion Stallion of the Hanoverian licensing in 2004 in Verden and in 2005 he won his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. At the beginning of 2006 he was declared the best stallion of his year. During the course of the summer, he took the Vice Champion title at the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships and then won bronze at the Bundeschampionat in the class for four-year old stallions after having won the qualifier for the Final. In 2008, after wining several ribbons in elementary (L) and medium (M) level tests for young dressage horses, he participated in the Bundeschampionat Final in the class for six-year old dressage horses. Since then he has reached advanced (S) level. Five sons from his first crop were licensed.

The dam's sire, Hohenstein I, also had a string of highlights in the course of his career as a sire. In 1993 he was awarded a premium at the licensing in Neumünster and in 1994 he became the Reserve Champion of the stallion performance test.In 1995 he won the Trakehner Championships in Cologne and took third place that year at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. When he was six years old, he won many medium (M) level dressage tests and by 1998 he was winning advanced (S) level dressage classes and had mastered the complete Grand Prix program. In 1999 the Trakehner Verband awarded him Elite status and in 2002 he won the Trakehner Stallion of the Year title. Glorieux, who is found in the third generation, won the 1987 Oldenburg licensing, became Bundeschampion in 1988 and made a name for himself as an exceedingly versatile sire. His offspring are successful all the way up to advanced (S) level in show jumping as well as dressage. The Anglo-Arabian gray stallion that follows, Inschallah AA, was one of the most important sires in all of Germany and, after Ramzes x, probably the most significant representative of his breed in warmblood breeding. Inschallah AA produc
ed top horses for the dressage ring, show jumping courses and eventing that without exception were distinguished by excellent rideability and character. Don Dancier goes back to Hanoverian line 847/Stahlfeder (by Stahl-Fuhrmann-Scholist-Lorno-Anvil). His 5th generation dam, Welfuri, is a full sister of the licensed, black stallion, Furino (private stallion Bavaria) and Furore (private stallion Oldenburg, DK, USA, licensing winner). This line is also represented by the licensed stallion Quadori (private stallion CZE) and the internationally successful show jumper, Arissima/Simone Smitz.![]() Hohenstein
