photo by Paul Clark Royal Oak II is a 16.2hh 6 year old, Black Oldenburger stallion imported to Australia in 2007.
Horses like our flagship stallion, Royal Oak II appear once in a lifetime. From the beginning we have had very high aspirations for Royal Oak II and he has never failed to deliver. He is the most successful young dressage horse to ever come out of Western Australia. He was the highest placed 5-year-old stallion in Australia at Dressage With the Stars in 2009, qualifying him for the World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany. His competition success started as a 3 year old at the WA state Champion Young Dressage Horse Competition where like all imported horses he was forced to compete against a older group of horses (4 year olds) and not only convincingly won his class but also went on to be crowned champion of all age groups. Since that day he has won at every major outing and quickly climbed the dressage grades, each year winning WA state dressage titles. In young horse ability classes he never fails to impress the judges with his dressage qualities and has taken out the 4, 5 and 6 year old young horse titles consecutively. At just 5 years he has already had two starts for two wins at Medium level and is close to an Advanced level start, Royal Oak II has also been a member of the EWA dressage development squad for the last to years. Royal Oak II’s character is described as a brilliant genius with so much natural ability he makes easy work of the higher-level movements, even at such a young age. Comments from Chris Hector include ‘The handsome black stallion’s bloodlines are a who’s who of modern dressage: Rubenstein, Weltmeyer, Florestan, and it shows’ and well know young horse judge and trainer Christoph Hess ‘Top class stallion, a horse worthy of representing Australia at the World Young Horse Championships’ As a producer he is a fertile, prepotent sire that stamps his foals with his lovely type, friendly nature and quality movements. His bloodlines carry the genes of many successful horses both in sport and breeding. photo Paul Clark
Sire ROYAL OLYMP Excellently bred with the pedigree of a dressage horse. As a three-year-old he reached the finals of the Federal Dressage Championships under Johannes Westendarp. In the following years he was constant winner in dressage at elementary and medium level and both at the age of five and six qualified himself for participation in the Federal Championships. In the 2004 season Royal Olymp managed the smooth transition to success in advanced dressage classes. Right now the big framed chestnut easily masters Grand Prix lessons and we are sure that Royal Olymp is on his way to a great FEI career. Apart from displaying high athletic capability, Royal Olymp earns lots of scores for his type and an overwhelming personal charisma . His 30-day-test was passed with scores distinctly above the 8.0 benchmark in both part indexes, and the rest of his stallion performance test was demonstrated in a superior way in dressage competitions. With Rohdiamant and Florestan I, Royal Olymp's pedigree combines two stallions which belong to the top ten of dressage horse sires. His dam Farce proved her great talent for sports as Federal Vice Champion of three-year-old riding horses. In 2001 a full sister to Royal Olymp was elected Vice Champion of Oldenburg mares and in the same year was sold to Austria at a top price. Robbie Williams, an approved stallion with victories in riding horse tests is a full brother to Royal Olymp. Super genes also in the dam's line! Dam Sire WELT HIT ll Welt Hit II is a pre-eminent dressage talent. With his fantastic movements, this black/brown king always steals the show. He was reserve champion at the Oldenburger stallion selections in 1994. In 1995 he scored 141.74 points for dressage in his performance test in Medingen (Leistungsklasse I). In 1996 he was reserve champion at the 'Hauptpraemienkoerung' at the Oldenburger stallion selections. In 1997 and 1998 he earned the title 'The Coming Stallion' at the Zwolse Paardendagen ( Nederland ). In 1998 he was 6th at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf for 6 year old dressage horses. In 2001 Welt Hit II won the bronze medal in the light tour at the 'Nederlands Kampioenschap' (Dutch championships) and after a fantastic season in the small tour he is now competing at Grand-Prix level. Dam Sire Welt Hit II has 15 licensed sons including Weltissimo (dam sire Barsoi xx), who was highly successful under Susan Draper at the 2002 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Daughter Riondine (dam sire Ferro) was the 2004 Dutch Hippiade Champion at Z2-level. Weltclassiker (Welt Hit II x Classiker) was the top selling horse at the 2000 PSI Auction achieving a knock down price of 650,000 euro. Full brother to Royal Oak II is Prix St. George level, dressage Stallion Royal Oak I-Premium stallion licensed in Mecklenburg standing at stud in Holland.
